First light is la montaña’s signature fragrance, in the sense that it was our original inspiration: the fragrance of our new mountain home at dawn on a summer day.

All are individually hand-poured by artisan candlemakers in the uk, and gift-boxed. Each candle is fitted with an etched, stainless-steel lid.

The wax is a blend of 100% natural waxes - sustainably sourced organic soy, rapeseed, and beeswax, and is sulfur-free and paraben-free.

We use 11 - 12% fragrance oil in each candle (including a high percentage of natural and essential oils), more than the market standard, even in luxury brands, of 8 - 10%.
